He doesn't know of many wardens who are here strictly out of the goodness of their hearts.] How many of you have asked the Admiral-- or tried to-- for more than one thing? Like say you wanted to save a life and get a million bucks out of this place.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if some of the inmates took exception to having a criminal for a warden. If for no other reason than to cause trouble and make things more difficult for everyone.

My deal was for an undiscovered, unsettled planet in a habitable zone that could suit my purposes with plans to do the rest myself.

If I wanted something else, as a warden you have access to other worlds here as well as individuals to reference. What you can't obtain by deal you may still be able to obtain through ingenuity.

There's no harm in requesting strategically. I wouldn't want to stay here longer than necessary.
