Given the current tension, I'm going to have to ask everyone to refrain from giving any alcohol to my inmate, Perry Dawsey, if he comes asking for some. No trips to the bar, no favors, don't give it to somebody else to give to him, nothing until I give the go-ahead. It's just a temporary measure.

Yeah, that was my concern, too. She wants to go for a walk, but everything's so surreal that we don't have many options outside of the gym.

Aye, the scenery is quite limited. One can stroll through the library only so many times.

Perhaps I could lift the ban so that she may visit the top deck when in your company. It seems less damaging to her than the CES since she has some familiarity with it already.

All in all, it's definitely less like walking into a dream. If you're comfortable with the idea, I'll keep a close eye on her, take her back below-deck the second she seems troubled.

That would be acceptable, aye. I will request the exception and you should be able to walk with her soon.

Arthur, a brief question, while I have you here still. Did you know this Ariadne woman well? Or do know, I should say.

Apparently she knew Mal, and saw fit to mention that she was a danger to a certain fellow warden, but was not concerned enough to say why, and never bothered to perhaps seek out Mal's actual warden before her abrupt disappearance. As you can imagine, I was not pleased to find this out.

And now she has returned, and I know not what to make of it.

Neither was I. And she didn't know Mal, not really. [Then again... she knew a lot more about what went on between Cobb and Mal than apparently he did.]

The way she behaved, when she was here... It wasn't the way she was when I knew her. Maybe she wasn't suited to the environment, maybe I didn't know her as well as I thought, or maybe... [NANOMITES?] maybe it wasn't something else entirely. I'm still trying to figure out what to make of her return, myself.

I admit, I am tempted to tell her to stay ~~the hell~~ away from Mal. Perhaps it would be unfair of me, not knowing her at all and having learned things through hearsay, but at this point I am not willing to take risks if they pertain to Mal.

Can't say I'd blame you. Have you talked to Mal about this?

Aye, I have. She is keeping her distance from Ariadne, which I feel wise, all things considered.
