This is just a reminder that the Salvation House soup kitchen could use a few more volunteers. I'll be there tonight. I hope to see some familiar faces around, too.

We've got a great city here, but remember: under the glitz and glam, there are a lot of people out there facing hard times-- a lot of them drunks. Maybe if you see their faces, get to know them, it won't be so easy to head to the gin mills. [Which Arthur knows you're totally doing right under his nose. TEMPERANCE, PEOPLE.]

[Officer Arthur (everyone's on a first-name basis with him, okay) is making the rounds on his beat today. Say hello to him, citizens! Or, if you're involved in a life of crime, run away. Unless you're one of the little urchin orphans, in which case he'll probably give you a nickel or dime for information (and a cool 50 cents if you look particularly hungry) and send you on your way.]

[OOC: LOL I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PLAYING A COP WHO ISN'T SAM TYLER. Anyway, Officer Arthur is an earnest, idealistic cop, who just wants to serve Lady Justice, okay. He won't go after any crooks without EVIDENCEEEE, so feel free to troll him if you're a scumbag who's just out of his reach /fist shake

Oh sorry, completely my fault... Oh! Arthur! How are you? [ The busy Irish school teacher had very nearly walked into him, he was busy reading a book as he walked which he had a bad habit of doing.]

Don't worry about it. [Arthur offers a friendly smile. Doyle's a good man; one of the few in Redemption.] Just working my beat, making sure people stay out of trouble.

What about you? How are the kids? [Arthur may have gone and spoken at the school one or two times. He's just that much of a boy scout.]

Hopefully ya haven't had too busy of a day then. [ He spoke closing the book he was holding once the page was marked. Arthur was good people so he enjoyed the times he could speak to him.]

The kid's be fine, I'm a bit worried about one o' em but I'm sure it be nothing to concern meself over. You know if you'd like later this week we have a gap between the lessons if you wanted to stop by and speak to them again. [ Best teacher ever. Cops all the time~!]

[He shakes his head.] Slow day so far. I can't complain. It's still early, though. The madness doesn't usually start until the sun goes down.

[Arthur puts his hands in his pockets and raises his brow.] I could. You don't think they're getting sick of me yet?

And that be why I try not ta be out once the sun sets. [ he spoke with a bit of a nod. God knows the place could get mad, that and last thing he would need is to be mixed up with the boozers. He would likely be judged so harshly.] I hope the day doesn't get too rough for ya then.

They may, but I be thinkin' between ye and Agent Winchester. They'll have the fear o' god in them and know just how serious this situation is.

[Arthur laughs.] I never thought I'd spend my free time scaring kids. [He's a troop leader, for god's sake!]

Well I don't be seein' it so much as scarin' em as makin' sure they don't end up like those less fortunate and consumed to the evils of the drink. [ He explained before shrugging with a bit of a smile.] Plus a lot o' the boys seem to enjoy hearin' ya both talk about yer jobs.

[ He choose not to say how much the girls seem to fawn on the two. Things he found amusing when his class thinks he isn't paying attention.]
