.048 | SPAM FOR ALICE MORGAN // backdated to start of flood // Perry and others welcome, too!
[Talk about shitty timing for a flood. With things as rocky as they were with Perry, now was so not the time for the Admiral to throw another inmate at him. Arthur looked at his item, checking it for the, what, hundredth time, as he followed his instinct (or flood-mandated yearning for closeness) all the way to Alice Morgan. He'd seen her around before, knew Capa spent some time with her, knew her alternate reality self erred on the side of complete passivity, but that was about it. There wasn't much on the network to go on, unfortunately. Arthur pocketed his item-- a smartphone-- once he found his... new and probably temporary inmate.]
Alice Morgan?
[OOC: NOOOTTTTT quite sure if he knows about her and Capa being pals, so that bit may be deleted once I find out.]

SPAM and THANK YOU for putting this up, you are the best
Arthur. To what do I owe the pleasure?
SPAM - NP <3 Sorry it was a bit delayed
The Admiral, actually. You've been showing up on my item, so I thought I'd check in on you. [Actually, he felt compelled to check in on her. It was strange.] But I can leave you to your... light reading if I've interrupted.
SPAM - no problems at all ma'am <3

Re: SPAM
[And possibly more than that, given Capa's publicly stated ability to differentiate between Arthur and his counterpart's naked bodies.]

I was a research librarian. For the New York Public Library. I sort of helped people find what they were looking for with databases, that kind of thing. [He shrugged a little.] Not exactly glamorous, but it was interesting.
[He glanced at Alice.] And you were a... researcher, right? [Not that he didn't read the brief public exchange with Kay in her journal.]

Two inmates, huh? I'll bet you're real pleased about that.
Also slow here :c
Alice, Perry. Perry, Alice.

Lovely to meet you, Perry. [She made a gesture to the free seats at the table.] Are you staying?
no subject
Sure. Why not? [He sat across from her, looking her over.] I don't think I've seen you around. So who are you normally saddled with, princess?

I can't fact check, so I hope this number's right
EH, close enough
TENTATIVE MONDAY NIGHT SPAM
Five feet was not a long way: she could hear Arthur's breathing. It didn't have the deep evenness of sleep to it.]
If it's any consolation, I doubt anyone is sleeping much tonight,
[OOC: III hope a second, later thread is okay. :C You weren't around to ask. I wept.]
CONFIRMED MONDAY NIGHT SPAM
Yeah. [He chuckled softly, rubbing his eyes.] But at least we don't have to worry about the other pulling a knife or a gun or a... pillow, or something. [OR DID THEY?]
I was never any good at sleepovers. [Although, technically, his entire line of work was a giant slumber party.]
MONDAY NIGHT SPAM
Do you dream much, Arthur?

And that would certainly be the case if you worked while you slept, but I think it would be more accurate to say that you sleep when you work.
