All the recent plague business aside, I see our resident game master still isn't paired. What's her estimated recovery time, infirmary staff? I think we need to be prepared to have somebody on-hand to keep a close eye on her until she's paired. Maybe anyone who's between pairings right now. You saw the way she's talking; she's not planning on quitting any time soon.

Speaking of, I'd like to take a look at her latest toys. Maybe get a feel for where she's getting all of the components from. [Pause.] I've got a list from the last time drafted up, in case anybody wants to take a look.

I'd like to request the following:

• Strip Dionysus's cabin down. He gets a cot, a week's worth of clothes, and that's it. I'll go in and do it myself if I have to.
  
• Disable all filtering on his communicator. No private, no custom filters. Giving or receiving. His friends can either talk to him in public, or they can get creative.
  
• A new inmate.
  
• Change the locks on my door.
  
• And don't forget to give me new keys.

I imagine the main thing that needs doing regarding that is regular searches. Because, to be honest, that's what should have been happening before. If she's making these things herself - which I think is right, yes? When she's... back, I'd think that should be the first thing.

As I imagine nobody in a temporary position is going to persuade her otherwise. So you've got to make sure she doesn't have the means to do it.

I'd offer to help, but I've... got plenty to do with my own inmate. If someone needs back up to do it, though, I'll be happy to help.

I'd like to think that somebody in a temporary position could at least keep her from getting her hands on these things in the first place. But you're right, we should be doing sweeps of her room. [If this were Sam Tyler, there would be a statement about PROPER PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURE FOR GOING THROUGH AN UNASSIGNED INMATE'S ROOM-- but it's Arthur, so he doesn't care.]

I've got my hands full babysitting my inmate, too.

She might already have her hands on them.

But... given that she's unassigned, you've got to be careful how you do it. Anyone who does it shouldn't go alone, should keep a note of everything taken - so they can give it to a warden when they are appointed, and another copy to give to her so nobody can accuse them of theft. They also need to inform her they're doing it - not in advance time so she can hide things, but tell her that her room will be searched daily/weekly, whatever makes sense.

It's basic procedure and probably annoying as hell to most of you but given that this is probably the only way she gets away with it? You have to expect her to be resistant to being searched, and try to find any loophole possible to stop the searches happening.

If she knows it's going to be searched on any kind of schedule, she'll make sure to do her work somewhere else. Somewhere that won't be searched. Isn't it better to sneak in while she's not there?

Just take it easy. Howie and I are hashing out a way to deal with her. In the meantime, if you need any books to keep you occupied while you're recovering, I owe you some.

After Cooper was bitten by a vampire, I gave him a gun to defend himself in the understand he would only use it in defense. Said gun only has three bullets and can only accept the three bullet cartridge, and less now because he had to use it in the apprehension. He was the one to track down Dionysus and he subdued him under my supervision.
