This is Arthur, reporting on the recent death of Barron Sharpe at the hands of my inmate, Perry Dawsey. [Pause, then a dry:] Literally.
Sometime during breakfast, Dawsey lured Sharpe out of the dining hall and into one of the Level 1 common rooms. From there, he proceeded to beat him around the head and face until Sharpe stopped moving. I heard the commotion on my way to the dining hall and got there too late. This wasn't a random attack; Dawsey's motivation was personal, and it's not something I can get into here without violating his confidentiality. Having seen Dawsey's reaction to Rex's mind control, combined with Prefect's warnings of Sharpe's particular talent, I'm sure you guys can put two and two together to get the basics.
If you've got any questions, Prefect, I'll fill you in as much as I can.
For the sake of preventing any further death and destruction at the hands of my inmate, I've got a request for you guys. Anyone who has-- or who's assigned to an inmate with-- the ability to alter memories or control minds through... technology, magic, superpowers, whatever, I need you to contact me in private. It's for your safety as much as Perry's.
Right now, Dawsey will be staying with me. Zero's not going to do anything, so don't expect to find him there.
[Private to Eames]
I could use your assistance with something, Mr. Eames.
[OOC: So, Arthur's plan is to use the PASIV for a long dream in lieu of sending Perry to Zero for a week, BUUUUT THE FLOOD/EVENTS WILL CUT INTO THAT. Whoops. Still, he doesn't know that yet :V]

Thank you, Comrade.
Barron... will have kept notes on this in his room, once I've got them I can let you know exactly what he thought he was doing.
Private
[Pause.] Is Barron the kind of guy who'll try to get revenge for this? How likely is he to provoke Perry after he gets back on his feet?
Private
No, Comrade, I don't think so. I'll be asking the Admiral to entirely remove his abilities after this, and I don't think he would re-approach Perry without them under any circumstances.

Within reason, of course.

I may be going under for a few hours. Just need someone to keep an eye on things. [In case Perry wakes up first.]

Not a chance. I was thinking of giving him the "guided meditation" line.

Give me the details at your convenience and I'll arrange to be there. I trust you can afford to lend me a couple of ties as payment? I'm growing a bit bored of the ones I've got and yours are better than none at all.
