[There is a medium-sized black cat making a linefacey expression that only Arthur can pull off.  His fur' wet, sticking up.]

It looks like the library has a new aide. The second she saw me, she used her wand as a spritzer to chase me out. [He gives his paw a few disdainful licks, as if he TOOOOTALLY DOESN'T CARE.] So I need somebody to pick up some things for me. Just a few of the newer books on interspecies transmogrification. They're in the restricted section, so you'll need a teacher's permission.

In return, I'll... [He sits up straighter, full of catlike... 'dignity'.] allow you to pet me. [A HIGH HONOR FROM A CAT.] And you can have my kills for the next two weeks. [Hope you like mice and birds dropped at your feet.  Another high honor from a cat.]

[Arthur's favorite haunts are the courtyard, the surrounding grounds, and the kitchen.  He spends much of his time hunting tiny animals and occasionally swatting at people's legs as they pass.  Why?  BECAUSE, THAT'S WHY.  If you try to pet him, he'll protest very vocally and swat at you.

Some days, he can also be found in the library, reading books and trying to find a way to break his curse.  However, while the spritzer lady is there, you're more likely to find him just outside of it, pacing irritably.]

[OOC: Meet Arthur, a formerly human student who once ran afoul of some old cursed object and is now stuck as a cat until somebody can ~break the spell~.  He's been stuck for quite a few years now.  Everybody who was in his class has since graduated or otherwise moved on, so he's just known as "that talking cat that hangs around the school," instead of "that cursed student who hangs around the school."  Feel free to spam up in here if you'd like to encounter the cat.]

[Dick is generally friendly to anyone who hasn't proven they're some horrible asshole, and while you're kinda standoffish and stuff, Arthur, you're not giving freshmen swirlies in the bathrooms or anything, so you're okay in his book. Which means when the senior passes by the library during a free period, he stops to say hi to the annoyed looking student-turned-cat.]
