Certainly. In another few days, when my inmate's been allowed to leave, I'll gladly keep an eye on things.

[A pause for acknowledgment of seriousness, then:] I'm a bit surprised you didn't hit him back. You weren't quite the child I was expecting.

[Hrm.] I'm not entirely certain. He seems more aware of his responsibilities and I believe he's been instilled with a sense of guilt or regret that wasn't present before, but only related to appeasing me, not to the deeds themselves.. and I think it's obvious that it isn't enough.
